Chiropractic Continuing Education – Frequently Asked Questions 

How does it work?

First, find your state chiropractic continuing education requirements by clicking on the CHIRO CE tab at the top of the page, and choose the state you require chiropractic CE for.  Once you find a package or course you want to take, add it to your cart, and go to check out.
Once at check out your new Chiro Hours Account will be created, which will provide you with access to your chiropractic CE courses and quizzes.  Your e-mail will be used to Sign In, and the password will be of your choosing.
After your purchase is complete, you will be re-directed to the My Courses page, where you can begin your courses.

Can I purchase courses for my colleague to take under my own Chiro Hours Account?

No; once an account is created, it is good for one individual only because the e-mail address, first name, and last name on the account become fixed and are un-editable.
The individual requiring chiropractic CE must enter his or her name on the check out page to create a Chiro Hours account under their name and license number.
If both you and your colleague require CE, each of you will need to purchase your own separate courses/packages, and follow the check out process to create an account individually.

What kind of format do your chiropractic continuing education courses come in?

All of our courses are online, distance learning reading material followed by a multiple choice quiz.

Will my courses be timed?

Yes, all of the courses we offer are timed to monitor actual time spent on the material per the requirements of certain state & regulatory boards.

If I cannot finish the course right away, do I have the option to pause it?

If you are not able to finish the material in one go, you can simply minimize your web browser window, and re-open it on your screen when you are ready to resume.  The system will save your time spent, and when you open the window back up it should resume at the time you left off at.   

Do you have more courses other than what is listed on my State page?

Whatever courses you find listed on your state page are all of the courses we have for that particular state.

Is there a deadline to complete the course?

There is no “set” deadline, however we strongly recommend you complete any purchased courses on time for your license renewal.  While we do our very best to keep up with current state board licensing requirements/deadlines, it is the responsibility of the licensee to be aware of their chiropractic board’s requirements regarding continuing education compliance deadlines.
If you decide to break up a course package by completing some credits for the current renewal cycle now, and the remaining credits for the next cycle, this is not a problem.  Please be sure to save a copy of your e-mail receipt for your records.  If you do not receive an e-mail receipt right after your purchase, please check your spam or junk folder.  Sometimes with an AOL, Yahoo, or custom business e-mail address, these automatic e-mails do not go through.  If you do not receive a copy of your receipt, please e-mail us right away and we will provide one for you.

What is a passing score?

The passing score for all courses is a 70%.

I cannot remember my password.  How do I get back into my account?

After your first unsuccessful attempt to login, please go to the Sign In page, and click the link that says “Forgot Your Password?”
Re-set the password by using the e-mail address associated with your account.  This will allow you to create a new password to get back into your account.
Sometimes with an AOL, Yahoo, or custom business e-mail address, the password re-set e-mail does not go through. 
If you have one of the above addresses, please be sure to check your junk and spam folders for the PW re-set email.

How soon do I receive my certificate?

Once you receive a passing score on the quiz of a 70% or higher, your certificate will be immediately available to you within your account, allowing you the option to either save it as a PDF or print a copy.  We recommend saving a copy of your certificate for your records for a minimum of 7 years.  Please check with your state chiropractic or regulatory board regarding how long you are required to keep records of continuing education compliance.

Will you send my certificates of completion to the state board?

ChiroHrs.com does not submit (e-mail, fax, or hard-copy mail) certificates of completion to state boards; this is the responsibility of the licensee.  Print out copies of your certificates and send them to your board if this is apart of the board’s license renewal process.  Some boards only request certificate copies to be mailed to them by the licensee in the case of an audit.  It is the responsibility of the chiropractic licensee to verify with his or her state board what they are required to do in order to successfully renew their license. 

What if I have a technical issue with my account, quizzes, or my certificate?

We are available by e-mail 7 days a week to assist you should there be any technical concerns regarding your account.  Our e-mail is ChiroContinuingEducation@gmail.com.  We make every effort to respond to your questions within 24-48 hours or sooner.

How do I print my certificates?

Please sign into your account, click the My Courses link at the top right of the page, and then click on the VIEW COURSE link for the course you wish to print a certificate for.
On the following page will be a large, blue, PRINT YOUR CERTIFICATE button.  Please click here to view and print your certificate.
